It is important to stay hydrated however that is just a standard so that people aren’t forgetting about having water. I always carry a water bottle and I fill it up and just drink it throughout the day. Your body will tell you when it is thirsty make sure you listen to those signs. Sometimes, you may feel hungry however that is just the dehydration kicking in. Aim for 8 cups but if you don’t drink water that’s OK! Remember that fruits and vegetables such as oranges, cucumbers and celeries have a good amount of water too so you can sometimes count those as your hydration as well.
This is a sensitive topic as research and studies are still being done to prove or confirm this statement. Carbohydrates or carbs come in many forms such as wheat, pasta, rice and fruits. This category of macronutrients is essential as you need carbs for energy when you are doing day to day activities, going to the gym or even sleeping. Our body runs of fuel and if you cut that out it can have huge consequences. For somebody who is just trying to have their recommended nutrient intake for the day and is not into a highly competitive sport, cutting important nutrients out of the diet is not helpful. Losing weight comes from a balanced intake of nutrients and adding various activities to increase your heart rate and to lose the excess fat.
I haven’t tried it and I do not recommend trying any new or hip trend unless you have consulted with a health professional. Always see who developed these diets and trends and what the credibility is on it as it is directly related to your health.
